Rank the schools, 1 to 5

Suny Geneseo

Hunter College

Adelphi University

Fordham University (LC)

Pace University

Rank by value of education, liveliness of the student body, lack of boredom (lol?).

If you've got any other suggestions for schools based on what I listed here, please share. I'm mainly looking for schools in or very close to Manhattan.

Sorry man, but I don’t know anything about any of these schools haha

@jgraider,

than why did you even bother to reply?

Hahah how do you not know any of them wowww…

I’m gonna do it with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best in my opinion:

5 - SUNY Geneseo
4 - Fordham University
3 - Adelphi University
2 - Hunter College
1 - Pace University

Geneseo + Fordham are easily the top two.

5 = Fordham (Favorite!)
4 = Hunter (NYC!)
3 = Adelphi (my grandmother went there)
2 = SUNY-G (Ithaca area)
1 = Pace (or lack of)

If you’re looking for a Manhattan school, then SUNY Geneseo probably isn’t the right fit. It’s more in upstate NY and if you’re looking for a city atmosphere, you won’t find it at Geneseo, because it’s a pretty small and quaint area. That being said, it’s still a great school. Just make sure you know what you’re looking for, and once you find it in a college, then you should be set :)

Oh sorry, I based mine on academics, while others based theirs on a city type social life.

Considering all 3 aspects, I would say:

5 - Fordham University (great education, NYC so of course not boring, student body are ok).
4 - Hunter College (somewhat good education, NYC, not-so-lively coz it’s commute school)
3 - Geneseo (really great education, not so exciting location, no idea about student body)
2 - Adelphi (OK education, dunno much about location and student body)
1 - Pace (OKOK education, commute school, only great coz it’s in NYC)
