Hey everyone! First of all, my top-four choice of schools are,

Yale
University of Chicago
Cornell
NYU (Match-Safety)

I'm not going to go into a lot of details here about my extracurriculars, courseload, and essays. Just assume that those are on-par with the criteria those schools are looking for.

What I'm really concerned about is my abysmal rank. My GPA unweighted translates to a 3.8 / 4.0, but our class is extremely competitive academically (not to mention, large) so I'm only 36th out of 780. My SAT score is in the 2200's. So what are the schools going to think when they look at my application? That I'm an intelligent, yet lazy person who doesn't bother to keep up her grades? That rank is a little bit low for Yale, isn't it?

Again, assume that I have decent recommendations and essays. I can assure you also that my ECs are both unique and demonstrate leadership qualities.
