So, what do you guys think of the new ranking?

PSU went down one spot to 48. A lot of surprises though: Yeshiva down significantly and UT (previously behind PSU) up 4 spots to 44, which is deserved since they were a lot more selective this year, placing a lot of emphasis on scores and minimum weight on essays or EC's (I know because I was rejected there). But can anyone address why PSU went down--any changes in methodology?

I don't think it makes any difference. There isn't any difference between 47 and 48th places. Because its a new edition, they had to change rankings to spice things up a bit.

I was surprised with one thing though - MIT ranked below Penn. I don't get WHY?!!

Well, PSU went up from 14 (last year) to 13 (this year) in undergraduate aerospace engineering. I hope it continues to move up. That's my major. :)

Did they rank Smeal?

what about for undergrad engineering and chemical ngineering
