Assuming I am applying ED at the school of liberal arts (for the national schools)-rank these 6 schools in the order of my most likely acceptances (highest to lowest)

National Universities: Northwestern, Cornell, U Chicago
LACs: Claremont Mckenna, Middlebury, Bowdoin

CT Public Highschool
16/395
4.7 Weighted, 3.75 UW
7 AP classes
680 CR, 720 M, 650 W (1400-2050)
Great Recs, Good Essays
average ECS, varsity captain, NHS, SHS, high honor role, etc

Yes, I know these are all reaches-but these are 6 schools I love and would be happy if I went to any of them.

Which of the 6 am I MOST likely to get into, and which do i have the smallest chance at.

SATs too low for U. Chicago and Cornell, but you can bring these up, your math score looks really good, but with prep (I recommend buying the blue College Board SAT book) you could bring these up another 20-50 pts to put you at least in range

B/C of your position as varsity captain you may be given some leeway at NWU, but your GPA is below avg. for that school (but this might not be a problem depending on the rigor of the classes you took)

For Bowdoin and C-McKenna you are most definitely a match

Middlebury might be a little tougher b/c you don't seem to be their typical applicant, you would have to bring your SATs up to be in that range

NWU's a hot school right now, and you would need your scores to be all in the 700's to get in...

However, if SHS stands for Spanish Honor Society you might be have a better shot because of your ethnic status, I know people with a Sp. last name who were barely avg. students but were admitted to some of these schools

Doesnt it stand for Spanish Honors Society-but thats just like National Honor's Society in that you just have to have an a- or better average in all your years of spanish+teacher reccomendations, etc.

Troll. And for those looking for info, best chance would be at Bowdoin which doesn't require scores as these scores are low for the named schools.
