But then they would have to downgrade from 5-star to 4-star hotels, and that would be a travesty.

I can't believe some of you got to take your AP tests for free. My school is a public school, but they definately have money to spare. Instead they pay for a brand new turf on the football field.

haha four arm do you go to Northview?

anybody know how much the collegeboard actually makes in a year?

it's all competition. within the united states, it would be safe to say that CB has a monopoly on the college credit examination market. IB does not compete with AP in regard to the number of exams taken. therefore, CB can charge whatever they'd like for AP exams and still have plenty of test takers.

On the other hand, ACT is really putting pressure on CB's SAT, and that has led to quick, free scoring of exams, relatively low price, etc.

Destroy College Board!! They Are A Money-mongering, Evil, Greedy Corporation That Controls America. Viva La Revolucion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why doesn't the government or the Department of Education take the CB and the AP program over? Would make a good fit with mandatory testing and the NCLB laws. It could also take the ACT over to use to replace the current state testing systems.

I thought the same thing a couple nights ago, it would help with standardized testing
