Rate my ECs (1-10)

Alright this seemed to be the best category for it, so please rate my ECs from 1-10. They're the weakest part of my application so this is all I need to be "chanced" on.

NHS
Elementary Science Tutoring
Hospital Volunteering (200+ hours)
Basic Summer Job (2 summers)
Cross Country
Indoor Track/Outdoor Track

I also have some awards/honors from XC and track, but I'm not sure if I'll do it in college.

Thanks for rating.

NHS-- 7
Elementary Science Tutoring-- 8
Hospital Volunteering (200+ hours)-- 8
Basic Summer Job (2 summers)-- 5
Cross Country-- 4 (more impressive with awards)
Indoor Track/Outdoor Track-- 4 " "

So would you call that a 6 overall?

uhhh i guess. i mean you know they are not superb by any means and that you won't get into college because of them. but they are solid and will not detract from your application.

6/10

They are solid but not impressive

NHS-- 2 (depends on the school though)
Elementary Science Tutoring-- 7
Hospital Volunteering (200+ hours)-- 9
Basic Summer Job (2 summers)-- 6
Cross Country-- 5 (more impressive with awards)
Indoor Track/Outdoor Track-- 5
6 overall

I think the hospital/science thing is good especially if you want to go into medicine.

NHS is kinda crap at some schools so it depends.

Btw, did you guys condier NHS an award or activity??

I would say activity, though I'm not sure because NHS is for seniors only at my school. My list is an estimate of what I'll have accomplished when I send my applications.

Do not say that in your application what you said about Track/XC.
It shows a lack of passion and paddind your resume even though I doubt you are doing that.
EC's are real general though so try to specify a bit.
