POSSIBLE AP/HONORS CLASSES I COULD HAVE TAKEN:

Honors Pre-Cal
AP Chem
AP Pysch

Do you guys think this is rigorous enough for UC’s? THANKS!

No, I don’t think this is rigorous enough for the UC’s. You should have taken atleast 3 APs junior year, 4 if you haven’t taken any APs the previous years. The recommend amount of APs is 5 for all four years I believe but if your school offers say…15 APs then you should be taking atleast 7. This is from what my school has told me.

There are no recommended numbers of AP to take to get into any school. You need to take a rigorous course schedule based on the AP classes available at your HS and in comparison to your fellow students. As stated above by @yurica, if your school offers 15 AP’s and you only take 3, then your course rigor is lacking. If your fellow HS students are taking 4 AP’s in Junior year, then you should take at least 3 if not 4. I would switch to Honors Pre-Calc (UC approved Honors class) or switch out Reg Chem for AP Chem.

UC’s consider HS course rigor as very important in admissions.

4/10

It should at least be
AP Lang
H Pre-Cal
APUSH
H Chem
Animation 1
H Spanish 3

H Chem could be AP Chem but only if you’re sure you can get a B or higher in it. If not, the above would work for UCR, UCSC, UCM.

I would upgrade either Chem or Cal, whichever interests you more.

… or you can take AP Pysch instead, it’s one of the easier AP.

Decide according to your intended major.

Depends on the UC
