Rate OSU BIOMED Engineering program

Can someone provide feedback on BIO MED Engineering program of OSU? How does this program compare to Univ of Cincinnati’s program or Univ of Michigan ?

@dreamed, looks like we are following similar topics. Have you applied for Bio-Med Engg at OSU. I wanted my son to apply for it, but we couldn’t, it was late. Wondering if he has a chance to change the major from science to Biomed engineering.

@Pras2016 - Pretty much everywhere I have applied, I chose BME, except for NEOMED’s BS/MD program.

One has to choose the BME major when applying thru common app. Once you are accepted into the Ohio State University, the univ sends your app to the College of Engineering. They review your app to make a decision if the applicant can get into Engineering school. The 1st year of Engineering college is a Pre-Engineering where every student takes same courses and at the end of the 1st year based on your stats you can select /qualify for a certain major in engineering. If the student does not meet the stats for that Engineering Major they are offered another major or can select to leave the Engineering track.

I suggest you call OSU and find out if you can change majors now after being accepted and maybe they will send your form to college of engineering.
