RD Accepted Students

Where else are you thinking of going to along with JHU? Any of you (RDers) sure of coming or are close?

im close. only school left that i care about is stanford. princeton never really cared. its a rejection.

stanford is my #1 choice in the west and JHU is my #1 choice in the east.

if i get into stanford, my mom will send in the admit stuff without hestitation.

if i dont get into stanford, she's powerless and im on a clearway to JHU. I love JHU not just because of the school, but because I have family around the area so it'd be nice to have a place to go to for thanksgiving, minor holidays so I can get fed.

Since I doubt I got into Stanford, I'm going to say I'm 99.9999% sure about JHU.

i dunno.. i'm thinking..

JHU (i didn't get money OR BME.. meaning less chance of me going)
berkeley (but i didn't get money.. poo)
LA (small chance.. got an alumni scholarship there)
SD (only if i get accepted to the med scholars thing.. fat chance)

but these are all highly likely now that i'm pretty sure Stanford stamped the big fat REJECT stamp on my app when they saw it..

I didn't get BME, but it was stupid of me for applying to that anyway and I would have changed it.

UC Berk: Rejected because my rank was too low (I just moved to the frickin school) and everyone with higher ranks than me applied.
LA: Got shafted by the Alumni Association during the interviews, and no money
SD: I actually like UCSD but JHU would be so much more different.

I hope to see you folks there! :)

I haven't heard back from JHU, but I think I might got into into BME. Nonetheless, i'm going to switch out and do Public Health Studies.

I got basically a full ride to: MIT, JHU, Williams, Columbia, and UC-Berkeley(Regents' and Chancellor's Scholar).

But ya, I'm still waiting for Stanford.

d a n g

wow, static, that's so amazing .. full rides are always so awesome to see :) anyway, i know 2 friends who are going to JHU.. (they were ED) one's doing public health and the other is doing BME.. i dunno about myself though, haha.. maybe biomolec engineering, but who knows

wow staticsoliloquy.. gj best of luck wherever u go.

spikesoymik: we have same results. rejected at berk, accepted at la, and sd. maybe we can meet up at JHU :)

ugh, i'm kinda mad that JHU doesn't have an admitted weekend; they just have a one day open house.

i don't even know if i can go.. maybe on the 19 but that's so late.. i'd like to decide where i want to go for sure before mid april at least..

dawg, i definately look forward to meeting you!

me too :)

we should all throw a party...

it'll be funny if we become roommates :)

oooh. tempting. i have no idea how this room thing works. but since we're both from cal, it's a good possibility!

its not bad to get a nocal's POV i've lived in socal all my life.

I just have one tiny request: just dont go "thats hellua cool!" on me plz...

uh oh...
I say "hella" a lot. But I can see how that can be "hella" annoying sometimes. Haha, well, I just moved from the Bay Area to the Sacramento Valley, and my friends didnt really seem to mind my vernacular. I think they started saying it too, now THAT was weird. So be warned :)

i'll have to play music over my ears to stop myself from speaking nocal

omg i'm also from norcal! hah and i hella love saying hella!

represent! yo.

jk. ;) . I used to live in Concord but I moved this year!

nocal hella sucks.. oops i just conformed ;)

i've gotta pick between jhu, duke, unc chapel hill, and michigan. i'd love to go to jhu but of course i didn't get any money and unc is so cheap for me (since i live in NC). it all depends on whether my parents will decide they want to pay the full private school tuition.
