<p>I was hyperventilating when I saw the mail with the subject :University of Notre Dame Decisionā. I just received my mail today and after I read the contents I stopped breathing.
I just got in and the admissions officer asked me for my address so that she could courrier the package. Iām an international student.

<p>Cowgirl- that is a exactly my feelings. We all hope we get in to such and such school, but all these schools offer amazing opportunites. I always read about people who attend their 2nd or 3rd choice school, only to find this alternate path led them to the right person or opportunity they may not have found if they had gotten into their ādream schoolā. Most everyone here has extraordinary opportunites. Weāre so lucky that it isnāt between a good place and a bad place, but rather between an amazing place and another amazing place. </p>

<p>I would be surprised if Notre Dame has not mailed out letters by today. If they wait until Monday, the letters will be arriving after Ivy League decisions, which is unusual.</p>
<p>star_s, do itās common for ND decisions to arrive BEFORE the Ivyās decisions? If so, then we should hear from ND on or before Tuesday. </p>
