Thanks for all the help everyone!

If you want to do CS, then CMU isn’t a safety for you anymore - even with those stats. But your chances are still really good.
Caltech, Cornell you should probably get in.
Brown also good chance.
low chance for stanford RD.

Grades are really good!

Your grades and scores are superb! I’d say you have a decent shot at all of them! Just remember to treat the Ivies as reaches, though! Best of luck!

Please chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1594388-will-transfer-better-school-help-me-get-into-my-top-schools-ea.html</a></p>

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Predicted results:
Brown: accepted (they’re looking for sciencey types)
Stanford: who knows?
Cornell: accepted
Caltech: accepted
CMU: accepted (unless CS, in which case low reach)

Look out though, you probably won’t get accepted at all of the ones I predicted. Looking at them individually, it looks like you’ll get into most of them with some being more up in the air than other. Good luck, you’re probably looking at some nice acceptances.

Thanks everyone. Any other thoughts?

Brown and Stanford are reaches, Cornell is a high match, and you should be set for the rest.

Chance me! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1593643-chance-me-upenn-uva-chicago-michigan-usc.html</a></p>

Oh wow, didn’t realize CMU’s School of Computer Science acceptance rate was so low.

Bump for more thoughts.

Brown yes
Stanford tossup
Cornell yes
Caltech eh i dont think anyone applying has below a 2300. crazy pool of applicants
CMU yes

Thanks. I’m really hoping Brown isn’t too much of a stretch since the next two people ranked above me in my school are also applying. Although I do have some notable advantages over them stats-wise.

New day. Any new thoughts?

For CMU, I’d suggest listing CIT-ECE as your second choice, kinda similar to CS but somewhat easier to get into (all the grads in both departments get jobs in software development anyways haha)

Thanks, I’ll definitely do that.
