<p>EC’s:
-4 years Varsity Soccer, captain for 11th and 12th grade, first team all league awards for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.
-4 years Varsity Volleyball, captain 12th grade, first team all league 12th grade, MVP award.
-Co-President of Students for Environmental action from grades 10-12, member for all four years.
-Grade-Level Representative for Student Council, member grades 11 and 12
-Nominated Member of the Athletic Leadership Council
-Member of the Students against human trafficking club
-Artist, drawing and painting, all of high school</p>

<p>Work Experience: Worked as a summer camp counselor for 2nd graders, two summers.</p>

<p>Spent 2006 summer taking photography at the school of visual arts in NYC.
2007: Took Art History & Drawing classes in Florence, Italy for a month, through a study abroad pre-college program.</p>

<p>I want to major in Environmental Policy.</p>

<p>Interviewed in Sept. with an admissions counselor, thought it went very well. </p>

Recs: should be very strong </p>

<p>Ethnicity: Mexican-American</p>

<p>I am very nervous, Barnard is my first choice and I would have applied ED had my parents not been so concerned about financial aid, and leaving my options open, etc. </p>

<p>What are my chances?</p>

<p>Also: I have recieved two Athletic Scholar awards, one for volleyball and the other for soccer. I also recieved the ACL/NJCL Nation Greek Examination Award w/ merit. </p>

<p>That being said, you sound to me like a great fit for Barnard. Of course good second-choice schools should be on your list as well since admissions is so competitive.</p>
