my 2¢ - this is all really just a sadistic and twisted social experiment designed to study stressed high school seniors ... and they'll be posting them this evening.

or not.

once i finish my stat homework i need to go buy more soymilk but i'm terrified that if i leave there will be some sort of forum explosion if they post the decisions. haha.

write my econ paper....or compulsively check CC and Chicago's website....decisions, decisions. although i'm probably just looking for any excuse to procrastinate. i've also been on facebook since 3....

I am actually rather glad that the decisions will not be released today because I have to write a paper on Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead and study for an organic chemistry exam. And, yet, I still feel compelled to check CC and Chicago's website at least once every hour...

^^omg, i just finished reading that in english. haha, i rather enjoyed it. it kind of reminded of me of monty python meets bill and ted's excellent adventure.

i'm sure that if i were a admissions officer and CC kids kept calling me every hour i would tell them that it would not be released for a while.

Last year's date of notification was uncharacteristically early for UChicago. I think we have a few days to wait and the fact that the site went under maintenance days before the early decisions were released makes this the more plausible view IMHO.

@Flavia: Oh, I was really counting on the whole "this time last year thing." Damn. Buuut, hope lives eternal--or at least for another 52ish minutes. :]

Me too, t-rex. I wish they'd just give us a date...I mean, they must have a dead-line for their own purposes. So why wouldn't they release it? Unless all this talk of admission people gaining pleasure from our pain is true. :]
