^Same here. I have my stats homework out in front of me, and I've been at it off and on for an hour, and I'm still on Question 1.

Sad...

Now I won't be back until 9.

man, Carleton and Macalester have both mailed their decisions (along with possibly Lewis and Clark).... but I have all of them mailing them to my boarding school, and I'm on spring break for a week! the only positive about it is that if I do get rejected, it'll (hopefully) be along with at least one acceptance. If I'm rejected from all three and I have three small letters waiting for me, I'll be in pain.

To the person who was worried about being waitlisted at Carleton, I wouldn't worry too much about your chances at more selective schools. It's entirely possible that you were waitlisted because they thought you were very likely to gain admission elsewhere and thus wanted to protect their yield by not using up a spot on an applicant that was going to turn them down anyways. I'm not saying this is what happened, but it's possible.

To the general community, if the decision was coming out today, should I check at 4:00 or 5:00 pm Central time?

^ Check at both times, haha. No one knows for sure what time/day decisions will be released :/

im hoping 4 pm central.

Thanks, Flavia. I was pretty shocked I was waitlisted; I have good stats and ECs, awesome recs, and I've been accepted to two schools of similar caliber--and one with a very selective scholarship. But whatever. Like I said, they definitely aren't my top school...

I'm not sure about time, but I think it's 5 CDT?

ajlangs: i was waitlisted too. and i was also surprised.

^ You're too great for them!

I would think 5 CST (or is it CDT?).

during the EA round decisions went up at 4 EST & emails were sent saying to check your admission decision at 4:30 EST. So if that is any indication than 3 pm central time is probably it

Psh, as Butternut says, we're just too good for them, t-rex. :] (Or at least, that's what I tell myself!)

It's either one, I think: Central Daylight Time or Central Standard Time. I've seen both.

Wait, I thought it was supposed to be 4:00 pm central and 5:00 pm eastern? That's what a few of the other posters said.

^ Everything is purely speculation. No one knows the exact time/day decisions will be released. Just keep checking between 4-6pm EST everyday until they come out >_>

hmmm i have a feeling that it's coming out today.

^Haha, everyone did last Wednesday/Thursday/Friday as well.

In the meantime, I am logging in at 4 and 5 PM CST today.

Ha, I have a feeling decisions aren't coming out today. But then again, I'm also feeling very negative right now.

I've got nothing.

Why would they go on spring break before giving us decisions?
WHY!?!??!

let's wait another hour :/

hm... 5:02 ET and still nothing. I'm banking on Friday or Saturday now, keeping my expectations low.

wow, i did get a message at exactly 4, but it was annoying housing information from another college. what a tease.

guess not 4pm Central. Be back at 5.
