t-rex: I know it sucks to wait, but I would suggest not getting too wrapped up in the worry and anxiety. For one of my other schools, I spent weeks waiting for my mail and then being ****ed when my decision didn't come. It wasn't productive and it just made me bitter.

So really, try to go do something else if this is worrying you too much...honestly, time away from CC would probably do ALL of our nerves some good. :]

EDIT: I was just taking my own advice and going to do something else--in my case background research for a paper on The Turn of the Screw. What do I come across in my research about the 1890s? The U of C being endowed by John D. Rockefeller in 1891. XD This damn place is EVERYWHERE.

Okay, decisions HAVE to come out tomorrow...!!!

Earlier on this thread, sovereignse wrote that "i called admissions last week explaining that because i wanted to make travel plans to chicago, i wanted to know when they'll release their decisions, and they said early next week." 'Early next week' means the first half of the week, aka Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Obviously the first two of those days are out, so it HAS to be tomorrow!! Plus, last year decisions were released on a Wednesday, so that's even better reason for why we'll be finding out tomorrow.

Earlier half of the week means the first half of the week, and since by logic, the first half of the week includes Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, it has to be TODAY! Nice way to put IB analytical skills into use :D.

Yeah yeah, I know that Sunday's technically part of this week, but I'm only counting the weekdays, aka Mon-Fri. And after 5PM Central my hopes for today kind of died, hence why I canceled today out in my head. But now it's after 6PM Central so today really is 100% canceled out. :(

haha, ditto t-rex (: i'm gonna go be productive.

and balaylay, that's been my theory since the beginning of last week ^_^ i'm started to think there might be some merit to it....or i'm just fabricating non-existent conspiracies out of thin air. (:
