Lol I'm depressed already!

did anyone get in successfully?

dude i just heard from a friend that she read somewhere that once a school had one of these login accounts before admission decision is out. people who were accepted originally logged in and then got rejected after.
great!

This was several years ago, where people utilized a specific "crack" to fool the admissions web site into revealing the decision (there was a programming error that was exploited). While I can see both sides of the argument in that particular case, here we are talking about attempting to log in with a username and a password provided by the university, at a web address that the University has made publicly available. I would not worry.... but then again I am not an admissions officer.

Hey all!
I got accepted ED1 and I can't get into that site... So I definitely do not think it means anything if you cannot either. It most likely uses different usernames/passwords then TAMS. I guess you guys will just have to hang in there till Monday.

Best of luck!

If I try to login with my TAMS password it says "Not Authorized" and if i try a random password it says: "Invalid Username"
(always using my TAMS username which is Firstname Lastname)

Livelovelearn is onto something, I think.

Everyone, take a deep breath, relax, and WAIT UNTIL MONDAY.

Decisions will be out when they be out. I'm glad you're all excited, but like the Hitchhiker's Guide says, "Don't Panic."

sorry for the multiple posts... my internet has been weird today

Easier said than done.... but there you have it folks, straight from the horse's mouth... decisions on Monday

Is there a set time of day that decisions will be released?

I can't remember why, but for some reason I thought it was 3 pm

Dan,

I really want to get into Tufts.

If Tufts does not accept my application Monday what do you advise.

I am 16 years old, younger than most applicants by a year as I was accelerated through a grade.

How are second applications viewed?
Should I reapply, should I take a GAP year?
Should I go abroad and take the equivalent of a 6th form?

Thank you for seeing us all through this.

Heartless_tin is correct, it's 3 pm Eastern (Tufts) Time.

ok then, just two more days...

I am no Dan, but let me take a crack at this.... Why were you accelerated through a grade? And, if you love Tufts so much, why did you not apply EDI or EDII? Perhaps answering these questions alone will help you decided whether taking a gap year is worth it to you personally.

Falling in love with any school is... just like getting married for the first time --- a triumph of heart over mind. If the first application does not work out, applying a second time would be, IMO, just like a second marriage --- a triumph of hope over experience. :D

My advice is if Tufts does not admit you on Monday, move on with your life. Hopefully you have been admitted to 1-2 other schools where you will get a good education and will be happy (or at least comfortable).

Actually, I'm graduating in my junior year as well. Guess we'll both see how that works out.

In any case, don't think that Tufts will give you your decision (whether it's acceptance or rejection) because of your age. From what I understand, colleges are going to expect that if you are mature and experienced enough to move on to college early, then you should be judged in the same light as other applicants.

praying i get into Tufts
otherwise...i don't know
it's my last hope
