lol.. i guess canadians should be hearing today as well.

It's really scary now to being an international student. As caltech only accept 10-20 intls. let's minus that number with those olympiad medalist. hmm
lim (spots left) = 0

Nobody's got a letter yet?

Nobody's gotten a letter yet?

Strange. Maybe everyone who's gotten a letter has been rejected and thus unwilling to post and so our chances are all higher? .... Or, equally likely, maybe little green men have invaded the Western US.

Odd. I live just about a 30~50 minute drive away from Caltech and I haven't gotten my letter... I s'ppose that might mean I'm rejected and they're using some uber cheap mailing service x__x

They only mailed the letters yesterday...

Still, USPS isn't that bad.

@fizix
I'm fully aware of that - I was just joking... Of course, it would have been nice if I got my letter today, since I live so close ^^

I live pretty close too, but still no letter :(

oh boy.. lets wait another day then.

Why no new prefroshlings? :(

People in the LA area usually get mail from Tech the next day. For the rest of California, in two days.

The EA thread has people in NJ getting them in two days I think...

Soon, llama, soon.

ahh, but not soon enough :(
I should probably go to bed

sleep is for the weak.

I remember when I used to sleep.

I just found this on the caltech admission website:
http://www.admissions.caltech.edu/

"Caltech received a total of 3594 applications. We have made offers of admission to 576 students and have offered a place on our waiting list to 315 students."

Good luck to all of you awaiting decisions today!

Is that all?? I was expecting a muuuch higher number..

I was expecting a much lower number of wait-listed people, to be honest
