they haven't finalized international decisions and will be emailing before april 1st

sigh................................................

hey bilawal did u call them up and did they say that?

April 1st? No, no, no ,no

woke up this morning and checked no message...
so sick of waiting

i hate hate hate waiting.
but i survived my math test! yaaaay

Prospec, dont worry I am from Pakistan too and I havent received my admission packet either. I am accepted into Carleton and not received its packet either. I think it takes time for heavier mails to get in =P Lol, lets hope that.

i am rejected by Carleton. Hope Mac could accept me.

And I was waitlisted. I loooved Carleton.
But I like Mac too.

one more daaaaay.. god this is unbearable.

two more days...didnt someone just say first april?

I can't possibly take this pressure anymore. If I'm not admitted to Mac, I will probably end up at UCLA, which is terrible.

Well, UCLA isn't bad at all!

I agree about UCLA, it's a very renowned institution.

On a side note... I'm really, really tired of waiting. I so hope that we'll find out the decisions in few hours. My spring break is starting tomorrow, so I'll have even more free time to think about Mac.

god mac just needs to release its decisions now!! i am so tired of waiting man. its like one of the last two colleges i have left.

Compared to Mac, UCLA is terrible for me: I will not take my words back. ;)

All ppl here are a few of remaining students who really want to get into Mac. If Mac does not take us, I'm pretty sure it will be a huge loss to Mac itself.

Checking my e-mail has become a compulsion those days, every time I see new messages I get so excited, but nothing so far.

We really are a good group of Mac fans here :) Yay for us!

I am going to sleep. The first thing to do tomorrow morning is to check my inbox.
Good luck, all of us

good day my friends - look like the waiting game is continuing

I agree with I'm You, UCLA is no match for a small LAC like Mac.

All my friends and family don't understand why I won't go for the "good schools" in my own country - huge classes, no liberal arts curriculum, entire mark based on exams, never meet your professors....people at a top university in Canada can get a social science degree with only writing two essays during their entire education!!!

the actual quality of UCLA might be higher, but in general I believe big universities in the States are in the same boat??

but yes I'm hoping so hard for all of us - love of LAC education is in our blood, now wouldn't that be an outstanding addition to Mac? .....even if we're poor?? if possible they should consider the great investment of successful, passionate and grateful alumni!!

well canadianemigre u have matched exaclty my own sentiments. everyone here has only heard of the ivy leagues, and doesnt not understand why i would wanna go to a place like macalester or other LAC's. but i feel they're the place for me. so far LAC's have been a disappointment. rejecting and waitlisting people due to financial issues. i only have mac and bennington left, and id choose macalester over bennington any day. so i hope mac really takes me even though im asking for tons of aid.
and yes we will be awesome alumni. i hope everyone here gets into mac lol. cuz we are the only 7 8 of us worrying about our decisions here :D

good luck to everyone. ivy leagues are coming out today, so i hope mac does too :D

It would be so awesome if we were all accepted. As all of you have said, we would be great.
i just hope Mac realizes that.
