To make the list more meaningful you should consider asking for GPA, test scores, financial aid or FP , and whether any meaningful “hook” (I.e , athlete, legacy, music, underrepresented minority status , etc) is present. Just knowing who gets accepted or rejected without this information provides no useful value other than to frustrate those on the wrong end of the decision bucket. For those who want to understand more clearly the process, what drives these decisions and how to compete more successfully this additional information (never ever disclosed by the schools) would be illuminating.
There is a separate thread for that, @Center, called “2014 Clean Official Boarding Decisions and Applicant Stats/Extracurriculars” that someone can create by copying the starting comment from that one into a new thread. All of that information just clutters up the decision thread.
@Center, In the past there has been a separate Stats thread created after the Admissions thread gets going and people have had a chance to think about their results/admissions process. To insert all of those details into the Admittance Results thread makes it a lot harder for people to just scroll down and see the results that are coming in. People can editorialize all they want on the stats thread
Maybe use the formatted one (with colors) from last year for the more detailed info?
