Is it worth it for someone to take the SAT for the third time with these scores?
CR: 760
WR: 800
M: 540

CR:720
WR:790
M :640

Which means the superscore is a 2200.... I want to go to a competitive college....

There is definitely room for improvement in your math section. If you think it's possible to get that up to maybe a 750, then I say go for it. That would bring your superscore up to a 2300+, which would really be nice for those top-tier colleges.

Yeah, if you could significantly bring up your math score in practice tests, it would be worth retaking. Since you had a 100-point increase from test 1 to test 2, I'd say you have a shot at it.

Just don't neglect CR and WR. You've already had drops on those and it wouldn't look good if they dropped further with test 3.
