Has anyone used this book? I bought along with the Ethel Woods book and there are a lot of differences between the two. I think that the Ethel Woods is correct. For example, Ethel Woods says that a liberal deomcracy is on that has free, competitive elcetions, along with some other qualities. IN the REA book, it says that a liberal democracy is one that has globalinfluence/a high standard of lving. Anyone want to help me? THANKS!

do not, i repeat do NOT use the rea book. that was complete garbage. i bought that at first months before the ap test, and, LITERALLY 2 days before teh test, i rushed a delivery for the ethel woods book. the rea book is good for a summary, but it’s not enough to actually procure information. the ehtel woods book is like a comparative textbook. the questions i found on the ap test were like general questions about the types of governemnt, it rarely asked specifically how the government pertained to each country.

my advice, use the rea book for the practice tests and the ethel book for complete studying.

good luck!
