Hey all, so for american lit. class at the end of the second semester, we wrote some sample college essays.
Just like the rest of you, I really do not want to write college essays. So I looked back on these essays that I wrote for english. I suppose I threw up sappy (and maybe not entirely true) information about what my culture means to me on a sheet of paper. It isn't half bad but i'd appreciate it if a few people would give it a read and give me some feedback?

my goal is to be original. i honestly have a plethora of things i could write about (model un, robotics world finals, community service stuff, working in a hospital in a third world country), but i feel like every college admissions panel reads thousands of those, so i tried to be a little different.

anyways, i can PM my common app essay and my u of m supplement (we had to answer last year's u of m supplement question as well for english class) to anyone that is interested

thanks to all of you!
