Reading Process/Adding Standardized Tests SCEA

So I applied early to YALE but when I submitted my application last Oct 31st, I only sent one score (I had only taken 1 test at that time) and it was THE ONLY THING IN MY APPLICATION THAT WAS HORRIBLE!

However, I recently took another standardized test and my score was dramatically higher than the one I had sent in. Though I'm sending it tomorrow, I'm afraid that they had already viewed my application and made a decision based on that score I first sent.

Once they receive NEW INFORMATION, will they evaluate the application as a whole again, especially if, as in this case, the scores are greatly higher than the first?

I'm honestly really scared that they already outright made a decision and won't give my second score sufficient consideration with the rest of my application. However, like i said, my other components are strong and I know that scores take a back seat at Yale admissions

They are still taking in information. Interviews are due in until December 1 so I know they haven’t “closed the books” on the applications. I would however, bite the bullet and pay extra for the scores to get there as quickly as possible.

If you indicated on the Common App that you will be taking a future test, they will accept those scores.
