<p>Well, I mean look at 2 lines before and after the line that you should be referencing. But by then, would you be able to answer questions about the passage as a whole (mood, etc.)? Is this advised? I haven't practiced pacing, so I have no idea on this.</p>
<p>For the long passages, I would read the entire thing first. For the short ones, I would look at the questions first before reading.</p>
