what were the other choices for that “articulated” question?
i think i put designed…but idr the other choices

This is what I put for the above questions being discussed:

candid, warm, reflective - for the tone of the writer in the dominican passage

expertise - he grew up in a house with an engineer and a clockmaker, which means he was around mechanical expertise (nothing else really fit quite the same if I remember correctly)

designed - it was talking about a piece of architecture. also one of the definitions of articulate is “* made clear, distinct, and precise in relation to other parts: an articulate form; an articulate shape; an articulate area. *”

hormones weakened the argument - the entire passage focused on how manes were a function of climate, hormones introduce a new, completely unrelated variable, so you could have a lion in a cold climate with low testosterone and no mane, or a lion in a warm climate with high testosterone and a full mane

does anyone remember any more? so far i have them all right unless its weakened, since i put no effect, which still could be right

ah one for the author passage was like, what was different between the writer in america (as a younger girl) and those girls in the other country celebrating 15th birthdays, i put they grew up differently, or something that had to deal with that, i forget the wording

@daps

i put the one where they said that the girls didn’t differ from their culture or w.e. but the american chick did

Icy: I had that, also.

yeah i think that’s what i put, just couldn’t rememeber the wording, another answer that i put was

when did the writer’s family finally see her as sucessful, and i put when her books got published and received praise

i got that toos

I, too, said that.
