really great act...lame subject tests

so it just so happens that the two schools i want to go to more than anything are two of the only schools in the country that require subject tests with the act plus writing AND don't allow score choice...

i have a 35 on the act :)
but scores of 750 (US), 710 (chem), 690 (mathh ii--retaken and only a 10+ improvement), and 620 (lit) on subject tests. :(
i also got a 2240 on the sat i, but i called the schools and they said they wouldn't really consider it since i'm submitting a better act...

i was strongly considering applying to georgetown early action, but now i'm worried about these stupid scores. the admissions office said they consider the 3 highest subject tests since they're technically just "recommended" ea (thank god for that 620)...but i feel like my other scores really aren't good enough...

and columbia? ughhh. they basically said they take everything into consideration, even though they only require two technically.

any thoughts/experience on the weight of lame subject tests compared to great reasoning tests in the admission process?

You have a shot at both of those schools. Make your essays amazing. You are fine.

your subject tests aren’t “lame.”
Believe it or not, scores other than 800s are considered good.
You’ll be fine!
