Could folks weigh in please?

Son is taking AP Bio exam on May 11 and AP US History exam on May 8. His school final exams will be May 28-June 4. This is a difficult private school and exams usually constitute a large percentage of one's grade. (lots of studying with a reading period for prep...)

When would you suggest taking the BIO and US SAT Subject Tests: May 2 or June 6??

We are hearing different advice.

June 6, why not? The material will still be fresh, and he won’t have to worry about “OMG my Saturday morning needs to be for AP, not SAT”.

I definitely recommend May 2nd. Taking the SAT subject tests before his AP exams and final exams will put pressure on him to start studying early, which is a good thing. And if he takes the subject tests in June, he’ll be in the summer mode already, something I witnessed in a lot of my classmates who took the US history subject test in June. So take it early. And if worse comes to worst, he can retake the subject tests in June if he think he bombed it in May.
