<p>2010 SAT. WAY WAY reach for Columbia. I know.
The rest of my application is really strong.
Should I go early decision and give it my best shot or should I wait for regular decision at which time I will have taken another SAT?</p>
<p>Also, after deciding whether I should to ED or RD, let me know if it would be better for me to do Columbia College or SCEA. I hear SCEA's acceptance rates are better; I could go to either and be just as happy.</p>

<p>ED admit rate is about double the RD rate for Columbia. What is the breakout of your SAT I scores by section? Finally, any SAT I score over 2000 is likely to get your application a very serious read.</p>

<p>The rest of my app in a nutshell: great extras, great recs, 3.99 UW GPA and 4.1 W GPA.
I'm taking 5 APs this year and I took two last year.</p>
<p>As ColdWind said, any score 2000+ makes your app strong enough for consideration. And since your other creds are also good, I'd say go for ED Columbia, unless if you're looking at a 100+ increase on the SAT the next time you take it.</p>
