<p>If you get accepted as a transfer, turn them down, and then apply to that same school the next year (as junior year transfer), is it less likely that you will get in?</p>

<p>I was rejected as a Sophomore and then accepted as a Junior to the same school.</p>
<p>I think your situation is more favorable than mine. If you were good enough as a sophomore will likely still be good enough as a junior as long as your grades are still good and you maintained/increased ECs etc.</p>
