Hi I'm going to the university of Nevada - Reno this august & this is the schedule I was assigned:

MoWeFr
MUS 121- 11:00AM - 11:50AM
ENG 102- 12:00PM - 12:50PM
MATH 126- 1:00PM - 2:15PM

MoWe
PSY 101- 4:00PM - 5:15PM

TuTh
CAS 154- 9:30AM - 10:45AM

I feel like 4 classes esp math and eng in the same day almost back to back would be way too much. I was thinking of moving my PSY 101 class to TuTh but the only available class is at 8am. Would that be a good idea (bc I heard 8am classes are pretty hard to deal with)?

If anyone can help me rearrange my schedule a better way that would be great!

Is there any way you can break up the 11:00-2:15 class block? When’ll you eat lunch? Is there enough time to walk to each class? What if you need to speak to the prof/a TA after class? What if you need extra time on a test (and they’re willing to give it)?

^Regurgitated info from my advisor when I was planning my schedule

I think I would be able to wake up and concentrate at 8am since I used to wake up at 5-6am during HS, but I heard that getting up in college is much more difficult. As for the back to back classes I’m not that concerned about lunch bc I can always eat a heavier breakfast then bring a snack into class. My main concern is will this be a problem when it comes to finals? I’m not really sure if freshmen classes are so hard that I wouldn’t be able to study for all of my finals in time…

Do you guys think it would be better if I tried moving eng to TuTh instead?
