Application sent in mid November, November SATscores sent direct so would get to UCONN around Thanksgiving, Acceptance letter received December 12th

sleepy - what school did you apply to and did you get an email saying they received your materials? I applied November 15 and still have not received an email or anything. I heard that it took weeks to get that email in some cases and in some cases people got it after their packet came in the mail.

ACES- pre-Individualized major
Got letter in the mail that everything was complete except for the SAT scores, it was not an email

Then got acceptance letter few weeks later

I think the purpose of the letter is to let you know what you are missing. I wasn’t missing anything so I didn’t get a letter - so you didn’t get an email either - just the packet in th email. Maybe I will get a packet in the mail soon.

UConn appears to be more of a rolling school than an early action school, even though that is not what they state. We had heard repeatedly about kids with great stats applying “late” and not getting in, so S made sure to send the application as early as possible.

that kind of makes sense. My friend sent his app in around 10/27 - mine went in 11/14. He got his acceptance (to business) on 12/12 w/an email saying his app was complete on 12/9. I don’t really think 11/14 is late, though.

odd - it seems that trackkid had acknowlegement from UConn that app was complete on 11/17 - why would they push him into RD? Unless they initially mad a mistake and it really was not complete until they send the second email on 12/9
