I'm applying to SEAS and I just figure out that I need a recommendation from a math teacher. I only have one from my physics teacher and one from my history teacher. AM I SCREWED? Do you think the admissions people would understand?

no they wont "understand" . if they want a math teacher, they want a math teacher and only a math teacher. I would call and say you just realized and then get a math reco out ASAP... or transfer your app to columbia college

I would go and beg a math teacher for a rec; he/she still has about 3 weeks to write one.

yes i would do the same..DONT ASSUME stuff dude...these ppl are pretty f u c k in serious when they say something and when like 5000 other ppl are gonna be applying with "math" teacher reccs...then that means your app is put on the side!!!!

damn, i hope my teacher writes the rec for me

yeah, i figured that our a little late too, but i got to send it a few days ago in a seperate envelope. So i have history, chem, and now precalc. They want a math teacher, so yeah, ask your teacher asap.

haha yeah hurry and get that in. by like monday or something. hopefully your teacher will like you enough and understand your situation or else youre gonna be screwed. but regardless good luck adjlad
