My teacher recently let me read her recommendation after she submitted it. However, it has extremely inaccurate information. It talks about me being in the Leo Club, which I was never a part of, and that I was involved with sports, which I wasn't. What should I do. Should I ask a third teacher that knows me this late and just not send her rec?

I guess that you do not have any control on the content of the reco letter. Just assume that you did not read it. If you have already submitted the required number id reco letters than you may ask the other teacher not to send. However if you need her to send the reco letters to meet the minimum, let her go ahead and send.

I just read OP’s posting to my husband and he disagrees with Mnomno. He feels that you should immediately go to the teacher and tell him or her. It may be that the teacher literally mixed up your rec info with another student. Either way, the teacher should immediately contact the school (not you). If the teacher’s rec has info on it that is not accurate, and those items aren’t listed on your application’s EC, it could get dicey.

Any other opinions. The common app allows you to choose WHICH two recommandeers, correct?

I don’t have access to the online application to answer that. But I do think you should talk to the teacher about it. That is just too ‘off’ to ignore and I disagree strongly with the advice you were given in the first post. After talking to the teacher, you can determine if you should just use another recommendation instead.
