i just realized that i sent in two recs for msb- one from my engl teacher and one from my econ/govt teacher... the one from my engl teacher was just an extra that i thought i should send in..
but now i remember that msb requires recs from soc stud/ math teachers only, do you think that they'll randonmly choose one of my recs and throw it out... that could seriously hurt me..

i know its a bit late to be worrying.. but it just struck me

I had two teacher recs, a Social Studies and an English teacher, my guidance rec (my Calculus teacher) and an extra rec from a summer program. I don't think its a big deal as long as you aren't bombarding them with other recs. Don't worry about it.

omg exactt same thing w/ me... i didn't realize until 2 weeks before the app was due that they want one from a math/social studies teacher... and i had my english and sci teacher writing me recs for all my schools... so luckily science hadn't yet sent it in, and english had but i just made hers my extra--like you-- and i got my history teacher to write me one... so i hope they don't throw one out either! i highly doubt they will, right? i also got a rec from the president of a marketing company i work for...

anyone know how much the teacher reccommendations count for?

You'll be fine. I originally was applying to the business school so I had sent in a rec from my math teacher. But then I decided to apply to the language school and sent one in from my french teacher. I called and they said it would be fine and that they will read them both.
