Received an F on my progress report. Will UCLA revoke my admission?

Hello. I was accepted to UCLA and Cal, and I already finished my SIR for UCLA. My high school's grading system is by quarter, and I had gotten straight As the first two quarters. I'm on my 3rd quarter right now, and I got a progress report(not the final report card) saying that I have a F in my AP English Lit class, which I had an A all along before. Honestly, I have no idea why I received the F because I thought the least I can do was get a C in this class...I'm on my Spring Break so I'm unable to ask my teacher about the grade I got, so as of now, I'm just working on my extra credit work and is sure that I can bring my grade back up to at least a B by the time the real report card is due even if this F was not my teacher's mistake(in 3 weeks).

My question is: Will UCLA look at my progress report and revoke my admission? I do know that I'm supposed to get an average of 3.0 my senior year and get no grade below a C. It says I'm supposed to notify them if I get a D of a F, but do I have to for a progress report? I am truly scared.

I’m not sure but I don’t think so. A progress report is just that. It’s not official and doesn’t appear on your transcript. Of course, your high school may do things differently…

No, your admission will not be revoked based on a progress report. It will be based on what is on the transcript your school sends. The progress report is similar to a test grade – but, you need to find out what went wrong, if anything, and fix it, so when you do get your reported grades, you have at least the minimum 3.0.

Thank you to both for answers! Yes I will talk to my teacher about it once spring break is over.
