MIT has received and processed all of my required material with the exception of "Secondary School Report and Transcript." However, when I click the link, it says: "Secondary School Report (Processed)."

I may only assume this means my transcript wasn't processed. Should I wait a few days and see if it gets processed (again, everything else including my recommendations has been processed) or should I ask my guidance counselor to send another copy?

This discrepancy is an issue that’s been reported by a few people, so perhaps it’s a bug in MIT’s system.

At any rate, you do not need to re-send anything until one of the admissions officers posts a blog entry saying they’ve finished sorting all the mail, which likely won’t be for at least another week.

My “Secondary School Report and Transcript” has been processed, but what my guidance counselor sent out before was my transcript/grades up till my junior year. My first quarter grades only came out this week. Since my school will send it in by the end of the week, should I call the admissions office to see if they received it (since I’m assuming myMIT will not update it)?

My history teacher says he sent out his evaluation sometime during the last week of October, but it still hasn’t been processed by the system. I am worried now because I don’t know whether to ask him to rewrite it and send another one or wait and see.

No, but they will announce on the blogs when all the mail has been sorted. If you are still missing pieces at that point, they will post instructions on how to get them in.

If history is any guide, MIT will probably get through sorting the mail at some point this week or next.

I sent all of my sealed rec letters and school report in one big envelope, over A MONTH AGO. Every item has shown ‘processed’ for over ten days except the second rec letter. I do not know what to do. It cannot have gotten lost since they were all sent together, can it? Should I give it another week of wait?

@MITChris,
My son sent his ACT scores and his SAT scores to MIT. His application tracker shows the receipt of all of his various SAT scores – subject tests, SAT I, etc.

His ACT scores are not mentioned, and yet they were sent at the same time as the SATs.

Can my son expect to see both SATs and ACTs listed eventually? Or is it common to list just one or the other, even though MIT may have received both?

Wait until one of the admissions officers posts the “we’re through sorting the mail” blog entry. If it still hasn’t shown up at that time, you’ll be able to send in another copy.
