Received mysterious letter. What is it??!!!!!

Hi all,

I've received a letter, well notification actually, I have to go pick it up tomorrow morning when the post opens...all I know now is that its international (I live in Mauritius) and that its registered mail, don't even know where and who its from.

I applied to Harvard...and at this point there is no reason anyone would send me registered international mail (don't have that many international friends) so well, I'm pretty sure it could only be Harvard.

So I would love your help to figure out what this is :) (yeah, I'm incredibly impatient)

I know its early to receive any kind of admission letter...I submitted a complex theory in Physics that I have been working on for the past 4 years as part of my application...if that has some "out-of-the-ordinary" weight in my application, could that warrant receiving some kind of early notification?

Or am I really getting ahead of myself, is it just something all applicants receive at this time? (seems odd though), and if it was just an ordinary communication from them, would it be registered mail?

I'm getting excited, but at the same time, am afraid to be disappointed tomorrow morning. Would be highly grateful for any input from you guys!

Thanks for taking the time to read, and great day/evening to you all.

Dominique

It is either a letter requesting more information or possibly it could be a "likely letter". No formal admissions notifications can go out yet so it's definitely NOT that.

It may be registered because they may have had un-even results in the past with sending mail to your country?

Thanks for the reply T25E4, its the second time you helpfully reply to one of my anxious posts, really appreciate it :)

Good idea with the registered thing...

About them requesting more information, they've confirmed they have all my stuff, and I think at this time, so late, if they needed extra info they would email me about it, not send an international mail...so this is just weird. I guess I'll find out tomorrow :)

Thanks again.
