Receiving scores early through a trick?

Oh sounded like u already had ur scores. Sorry Dragon.

Will people who took the ACT w/ writing get the score in ~40 mins too?

Ahh, good luck everyone! I hope we all get our scores on time! I think we deserve it .__.

@frenchgal Breathing helps a lot. If you remind yourself to breathe you’ll see a difference. I remember reading on here of a girl who wrote breathe on the back of her hands while taking the SAT I believe and she was able to significantly cut down on careless mistakes.

^^ it prolly does i dont think i breathed at all i was sweating like crazy and just freaked out that i was gunna fail haha

Thanks ricky. Sadly I am the queen of silly mistakes. I think for the people who took writing our multiple choice raw scores will come out. I hope so… I have been waiting forever!!!

@Ricky

That sounds like a good idea. Whenever I think of the ACT, I think of myself glaring at the test without moving my mouth lol.

~30 minutes left lol… hopefully

Do you guys know how national merit for the psat works? What happens once you break your state score? I think the Michigan score will be around a 210 this year.

You get to go to the next round. Then compete again with that batch

You will be recognized as a semifinalists your senior year by September…you have to fill out an application with essay, send sat to scores that corroborate your PSAT, high school will send recommendations and transcript and then they tell you in like feb if you are a finalist which most people do become and then like 8000 of the 15000 finalists are given extra prizes for their rec, transcript, sat, PSAT, extracurricular, etc

Now its ~20 minutes!

So one you break that state benchmark around 210 you’re a semi finalist and on your way to become a finalist? Doesn’t sound that hard…

Yeah but there are certain requirements you have to meet and becomes more and more difficult

Do u guys have any more tips for the psat? I really want national merit…

It’s not bad once you get your score and if it is above the threshold then as long as you fill out your application you should pretty much become a finalist and then after that it’s luck whether you are one of those 8000 who get Money and stuff

Same as the SAT hahah. Sit down and practiceeeee

The requirements are after you become a semi finalist? They’re for becoming a finalist right?

The PSAT is relatively easy compared to the regular sat…I didnt really study for PSAT specifically but for sat and did well on PSAT. It’s a much shorter exam so it won’t tire you out or anything as long as your careful and you take your time no rush and have been practicing some sort of sat you should be fine

There is only so much I can practice now… I have less then 2 weeks left. Sigh… I wish I had started earlier. I got a 196 in ninth grade and was off to a good start and then I just slacked off.
