I recently enrolled at NYU CAS as a Sophomore transfer. I am currently majoring in Economics however like 90% of all econ majors at CAS I wanted to internally transfer to Stern. When I tried to do so I was informed by my advisor that a transfer student that has entered NYU in a different division cannot internally transfer to Stern.

I'm pretty upset, the only reason I wanted to go to NYU was because of the possibility of going to Stern. I had already been rejected from Stern once before. Is there anything I can do? Should I talk to the Dean or other people working at Stern about this? Or should I just stick it out at CAS? I am just afraid of my career prospects being horrible, since I want to work in the financial industry.
