<p>What is the differenence in Computer Science (College of Engineering) and Statistics/Computer Science or Matematics/Computer Science (College of LAS)?</p>
<p>Do all these three majors hve the same job opportunities in Depatrmnet of Computer Science? Or. does any one hase eny edge over the other/brand value?</p>
<p>^ I don’t really have any info, but I’m sure it would be better to major in CS through the College of Engineering since it’s much more selective than LAS, and it’s ranked #5 in the nation (or something like that…). The prestige of the Engineering college will definitely help.</p>
<p>Also, I think the College of Engineering has more course requirements/credits to graduate.</p>
