Recommend a hard vocabulary books to read

Hi.

I used the search function, though I only found one topic. Nevertheless, could you guys recommend any books that have complex vocabulary, but in the same time, aren't boring to read? The purpose is to improve vocabulary for SAT.

I've heard about Frankenstein and A Farewell to Arms, but I'd like to give a shot to some other books as well.

Thank you.

Try reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

It’s an unusual and interesting french best seller, and it’s chock full of SAT vocabulary words.

I just read the review for that Hedgehog one, it looks pretty interesting. I would recommend shopping for some Penguin Classics, pretty interesting and cheap while still offering the awesome literature and vocab practice.
