I sent in three recommendations: one from my counselor, one from a coach, and one from a teacher. I had the recommendation from my counselor sent electronically, but I had the other two sent via snail mail. However, none of my colleges have received any recs except for my counselor's, even though I had them sent a couple of weeks ago. Is there any way to get them sent electronically (by January 5th, my first deadline)?

If you could get in contact with you coach and teacher then you could ask them to upload the recommendations via Common App. Then the colleges would download them.

I would think you need to contact the teacher and coach and ask them to send it. You can also send the recs again after the break. As long as it is postmarked by the 5th, you should be alright.

How do they upload it via Commonapp?

My only problem is my teacher is new and for some reason isn’t on Naviance Edocs and therefore can’t be invited to Commonapp. My coach isn’t affiliated with the school, so I wouldn’t know how to do the job electronically for him, either…

At this time of year it is likely the college has received the recs but has not matched the documents up with your individual file. Processing snail mail takes quite a bit of time. Keep an eye on it though but it is too early to panic.

Okay. Also: I just barely realized that I never attached evaluation forms to my recommendations…are they required? Or just the letter?
