Can someone provide me a list or recommend to me great, ACADEMIC more on STEM focused summer camps that are free of cost that’s being held / run by prestigious universities?
I am open to to programs that’s not being ran by these universities as well but are cost-free… Preferably something MERIT BASED…
Any suggestions?
In many states, AAUW runs one-week STEM camps for rising 8th grade girls, with application process in the Spring semester of 7th grade. Applicants must be nominated by their school, submit a fairly detailed application including two essays, and then have an interview. If selected, it’s essentially free with a modest registration fee. The program is called Tech Trek if you want to google it.
There is a really long thread on this topic in the summer programs section of this forum. It should be fairly easy to find.

How does the college credit work? Will most college accept the credits that I earned there?
Also, if you’ve done the program, can u tell me what your experience was like?
Thanks!
