Recommendation Letters?

<p>So, there are several colleges I am planning to apply to via early action. They all say that they don't require teacher recommendations but is there any harm in sending a couple anyway? I have several teachers whom I know would be ready and willing to write very nice letters and a couple of the schools I am interested in are ones I really want to look good for. :/ </p>

<p>I wouldn’t send anything they don’t ask for. If they say recommendations are “optional,” then go ahead and send one. If not, and you really want to send one anyway, then I’d contact the schools first and ask how they feel about unsolicited recommendations - and if they say okay, limit it to one per school.</p>
