Recommendation Letters?

Hi there!

I've currently requested recommendations from two different teachers, 1 is my AP Language teacher from Junior Year, and the other is my AP Government teacher Sophomore year, who also outside of the classroom setting for a leadership role. I'm also considering asking a religious educator, who's written me positive rec leaders for other situations.

Do I pursue this third recommendation, or should I leave it as is?

It couldn’t hurt to have it. Just make sure you read each school’s policy on LORs and how many they accept.

For schools that allow an additional rec, i think it would be beneficial

Agree with the above - don’t send it if they discourage supplemental materials. If they have the option of extra’s, I don’t see how it could hurt (assuming it is a good rec)

I actually have four recs and no problems have arisen with it so far… You should be fine!
