i've searched the vanderbilt website, but i was unable to come up with anything. does anyone know how many letters of recommendation are required for the application?

When I applied, I had two letters of recommendation.

Hello friends,

To apply to Vanderbilt, each applicant needs three letters of rec. One has to come from a high school counselor. Two have to come from academic, core subject teachers. Additional letters are welcome and we read them all, but please don't go overboard. Our current record is 27 and we'd like that record to stay put for a long, long time.

does a foreign language teacher count as "academic, core'?

also, how many have to be jr. or sr. year teachers?

When I applied, I had a rec from my French teacher. I think it does count as academic.

if we do send a rec from someone like a coach or an employer, is there anything that needs to go with it, or should we just have them send a letter?

Our current record is 27 and we'd like that record to stay put for a long, long time. Brad

27? It sounds so funny. (Sorry, I do not how to quote)
