<p>My teacher said she has already sent my Barnard recommendation, but it still hasen’t reached Barnard. I’m not sure if it’s the fault on Barnard’s part, the post office’s part, or my teacher’s part. Should I make my teacher fax another copy? The thing that I am the most scared of is that the other schools didn’t get her recommendation either… (Since I’m sending supplementary recommendations, there is no way for me to tell other than for Barnard, which tracks the names of the senders.)</p>
<p>It may be on the part of the nature of the report or recommendation. My D's application has arrived at all of her schools, but varying amounts of Rec. letters and school reports are recorded as having arrived. It seems different at each school. I attribute this to the fact that these are paper reports and are processed by hand.</p>
<p>Orange I too am having the same problem. I sent all my stuff in together in one envelope in November. They recieved one of my recs but not the other even though they were together. I emailed them in December and they said if anything was missing they would notify me. Even now it still says they are missing a rec, so I sent another copy with my mid year report. On the website it still shows it as missing but hopefully that will change when they recieve it soon. Your best bet my be to just resend it.</p>

<p>My guess is that they process the recs after they do all the applications, if this many of you are 'missing' them. Especially if you sent them all in the same envelope.</p>
<p>I seem to recall their taking a few extra days to process my recs. You're all probably fine.</p>
<p>I'm having the same problem. I sent all of my letters and my school report a good 10 days before the deadline (certified mail 1st class included) but it still says they haven't received it. What's even more odd is the fact that they never sent the green postcard thing back and all of my other schools have. However, when I looked at the tracking number online, it says that they received it.</p>
<p>I wish they were better at this.</p>

<p>Doesn't the site say these items are not PROCESSED and/or received"? Or something to that effect??</p>
<p>Point being, they are dealing with LOTS of material right now and if you sent them in one envelope or if you gave the correct code for Barnard on your SAT form, chances are they just have not PROCESSED these materials yet.</p>
<p>If you are truly freaked out, give them a call to confirm. They are SWAMPED at this time of year, but were really nice a couple of years ago when we had some questions during this process.</p>

But I sent my SAT scores to Barnard a month before, and since top schools receive them electronically, it is just weird that they didn't receive it. Also, nonne of my other schools, (schools that receive 10000 apps each year) have had such problems. Besides, apparently I'm not the only person having this problem. soooo... whatever</p>
<p>My point was (made poorly by me) that they probably do have your scores and materials. They just have not posted that info on the web yet.</p>
<p>But please call them if you are concerned! I am pretty sure we did the same thing...we called about some question or another and, though they were obviously terribly busy, they were very nice.</p>
