Does anyone have any recommendations for good undergraduate business programs? I’m looking to go into the fashion industry, mainly to continue growing the business I already own and plan on majoring in marketing but also considering business administration or management. I’ve been looking into a few programs like Wharton at UPenn and Haas at Berkeley (where I’m attending an entrepreneurship program this summer). My main criteria for finding a business program is a larger focus on psychology, philosophy, and liberal arts rather than math/science, especially because a lot of my application has a substantial focus on visual art like graphic design. I was looking into the Economics & Management course at Oxford but found out it was very math-focused as I’ve found to be the case with many of the business programs in England, and I was also interested in M.I.T. ‘s management course at Sloan, but I assume that would be heavily focused on math as well, considering M.I.T’s substantial focus on math and science. Also, my family is upper middle class so after running a ton of net price calculators with my parents’ most recent financial data, I’ve found that I almost definitely have to attend a private university since I’m not eligible for any financial aid at any public university (except UVA for some reason), not even my state university CU Boulder. Additionally, I’ve just begun my research very recently, so most of my findings have been related to top universities, but I’m looking to find good programs across the spectrum, not just T20’s, of course.
(I have another thread posted, “What are my chances of getting into Wharton, Haas, or other top business programs?”, with my stats and EC’s if that would help)
