recommendations

howdy CC, how y'all been??

ok here's the deal: i've got to submit my recommendation requests like, super soon, so i need to know which teachers i should ask.
i've got three teachers who LOVE me. example: my ap english teacher invited me to her wedding. so its like that sort of thing. i see these three teachers all the time, they are advisors to clubs i'm in, and i talk with them after class, after school blah blah blah.
the problem is: they are all humanities teachers. the teachers that i have for math/ science this year can't write for their lives, so if i asked them for recs i know they wouldn't be good. at all.
so do you think harvard will care that my recommendations come from humanities teachers only? is it really that important that i have a math/science teacher write me one?

Absolutely not. It's important that your recommendations convey a genuine sense of respect and admiration for you, your abilities and your character. Your SAT II scores will tell schools about your mastery of science content.

Are you interested in math/science or in humanities? If the former, you should probably have at least one from math/science. If the latter, definitely not necessary to have a math/science recommendation.

I don't think so...my two recommendations were from English teachers. I'm not even interested in English. Although, one recommendation was an academic viewpoint and one was a leadership viewpoint...I think you should be fine!

thanks guys!!

i want to major in economics/poli sci so it should be okay, right?
