Hi there! I am about to start classes at a different college and hope to, for my junior and senior year, be a student at UCLA as an English Major. I want to ensure I spend the next two years wisely, i.e. taking courses that would place me higher in possible acceptance from UCLA. I found the following link and was a tad confused: https://www.admission.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/lsmajors/english.htm
Does anyone know if the two years of one foreign language means that I should retake foreign language courses in college? As I took Spanish all three years of middle school and all four years of high school, not to mention I am of Latin descent and it seems like taking these courses would be a waste of time when I can squeeze in a core class, like Math or History instead. Any help on this topic would be much appreciated. Thank you!
